Sheri’s Back Story
I was raised between two extremes of judgment and hate. My father was a prominent drug dealer, once nominated to be the Grand Dragon of the KKK. My mother was an Evangelical who spoke in tongues and attended book burnings.
He terrorized me. She demonized me.
For years, I lived under the shame and delusion of my cult-like indoctrination.
Until, at 27, I learned the Universe isn’t 6000 years old, and the biblical Adam and Eve weren’t really the first humans—triggering a tsunami of distrust in everything I believed.
The dismantling of my faith began.
I am the host of Fireside Creators, where experts and those with experience discuss tough topics, trying to change the world one conversation at a time.
Now,I fight for the marginalized, disenfranchised, and abandoned.
